When I started this blog I wanted to be completely real, express everything that was going on and hopefully inspire someone along the way..
So often I talk about my journey of changing eating habits 5 years ago and beginning a healthier lifestyle – a more balanced lifestyle! Well I’m here to talk about how lately it’s been a struggle to stay on track, how it seems like every afternoon I hit the snacks and I hit them hard!, how every night I go to bed saying ‘tomorrow will be better’ and every morning I start with the greatest intentions! My morning routine consists of Apple Cider Vinegar & hot water (with lemon & thieves oil), a shot of Ningxia and celery juice – I’m preparing my body for the day but then what happens?
Today was a perfect example, I was doing great! did my regular morning routine, made myself Gluten Free toast with Peanut Butter and a Green Juice for later. Had a hearty lunch of quinoa, chicken and grilled vegetables – where I ate with gratitude and slowly! but as I was putting away laundry I felt a sense of low blood sugar so I decided to have a Kind Bar and that’s where it all began. The darkness of snacking on anything I could get my hands on for two hours.
Now one thing I have been consist on the past week is my water, 4 litres every day for a week! This is a definite win for me.
I would like to get to the root of what’s going on; check in with my Primary Foods (career, relationships, spirituality, physical activity, and other lifestyle factors). This is an ingredient to work on for my Volcano; life is a balance and we’re always working to keep the balance in check.
Thank you for holding space for me – this was a difficult one to write.. I have rewritten this many times and am nervous to send it out in the world but this is me~
